Sleepy Heads (1997) provides a comedic take on the lives of young illegal immigrants in New York who are relieved from the hard-working and hierarchical expectations of Japan. With the direction of Yoshifumi Hosoya and the writing of Hosoya, Nick Feyz, and Christo Knight, the film offers excellent sight gags and caricatures.
