Eupholus (schoenherri) petiti - Super cute sea-green weevil! His little shinny toes are our favorite part!
Known as the jewels of the forest, these weevils are beyond beautiful. Metallic sea-green stripes make for an amazing addition to any cabinet of curiosities or classroom educational tool!
Eupholus (schoenherri) petiti is usually metallic bright blue-green, with four transverse unequally spaced black shining bands on elytra. The last band is strongly arched. Antennae are club-shaped, it has a longitudinal groove on the vertex and the extremity of thighs is blue. The blue-green color derives from very small scales, covering all over the elytra.
Encased in a black or white plastic float frame with elasticity film which allows you to easily see both sides of the mantis. The plastic film allows you to better see the physical characteristics of your critter while keeping them safe. You can open the frame but it will probably damage your new insect friend.
The frame is approximately 3.75" x 3.75". 4" with base.
