In the film Rain Man, a disillusioned Los Angeles businessman discovers that his recently deceased father left a large inheritance to his institutionalized autistic brother in Ohio. He then embarks on a journey with his newfound brother across the country in hopes of gaining a larger share of the inheritance. Directed by Barry Levinson and written by Barry Morrow and Ron Bass, the film stars Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
