Fleetwood Mac were at their peak in August 1977, when they returned home to LA and played three shows at The Forum to almost 50,000 fans. Just weeks before, their album RUMOURS had been released to large acclaim. RUMOURS LIVE captures the energy of the band's opening night at The Forum on August 29, 1977. The setlist focuses heavily on FLEETWOOD MAC and RUMOURS, the two albums featuring the band's current lineup: Mick Fleetwood, John and Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham. There is one exception: the classic rock-guitar anthem "Oh Well," written by Fleetwood Mac's founder, Peter Green.
