A hapless busboy at a bohemian coffee shop stumbles into the art world when he disguises a dead cat in plaster and passes it off as a masterpiece. As the praise mounts and collectors demand more, his desperation spirals into a murderous obsession to feed the insatiable appetite for his "art."
